Description
CMMG conversion BANSHEE Mk4 22LR conversion:
CMMG is an American manufacturer, based in Missouri, specializing in the design of conversions and innovative rifles based on the AR-15. It is particularly renowned for its models chambered in unconventional calibers as well as for its revolutionary technical improvements (see the GUARD and MUTANT models).
The barrels, in chrome-molybdenum steel, have undergone nitriding which gives them a very high resistance to corrosion and wear (virtually indestructible in 22LR).
Main features:
– Semi-automatic conversion with non-set breech derived from the Atchisson system (former 22LR conversion of the M16).
– 9” tapered semi-heavy barrel (with a pitch of 1:16”) chambered in 22LR, in chrome-molybdenum steel protected by nitriding which gives it a very high resistance to corrosion and wear (virtually indestructible in 22LR).
– A2 flash hider on standard thread.
– Standard M4/M16 thread of 1/2″x28Tpi (you will find, in the B&T section, an HP22 sound moderator adapted to this thread) – Cylinder head
box in aeronautical alloy 7075T6 machined from forged parts.
– Cylinder head and rails stainless steel guide rails
– Improved cylinder head, derived from the Atchisson Mark II conversion.
– Stainless steel extractor and striker.
– This conversion is compatible with all AR15 receivers whose dimensions are MilSpec.
– Breech box with closing assistance pusher and ejection window door.
– 7” RML7 floating handguard with picatinny top rail and M-LOK system at 3H/6H/9H.
– This small diameter handguard offers excellent grip.
– Type III MilSpec anodizing on receiver.
– Compatible with all magazines intended for the Atchisson Mark II conversion, including Black Dog magazines.
– Caliber: 22LR
– Weight of a weapon equipped with this conversion: approximately 2,400 kg
– Length of a weapon equipped with this conversion: 63.5 cm (stock retracted, if a Magpul CTR or MOE stock is used)
– Made in the USA
– Conversion classified in category B5 (out of quota).
ATTENTION: the conversion is delivered without charger. These are sold separately.
Note:
CMMG conversions are equipped with receivers built with the same materials (7075T6 forged and machined) as the original models in caliber 5.56×45 (223 Rem.) which explains their value.
No compromise related to the caliber 22LR was made during their design and manufacture.
