Description
This sleeve goes unnoticed during the dismantling of a Glock and yet its presence makes it possible to have a polymer-polymer contact between the firing pin cups and this sleeve in which the assembly slides.
This is the reason why the Glock manual mentions that the firing pin should never be oiled because this channel will retain debris and residue from the shot and/or expelled by the primer.
The dismantling of the internal sleeve of the striker channel requires the installation of a new new element.
