Remington 223 caliber GGG cartridges (5.56x45mm) with 62-grain FMJ projectile (speed: 950 m/s in a 20″ barrel).

Characteristics of GGG cartridges:

• They are produced with the same quality level as a match cartridge.
• They are made on French Manurhin machines (considered the best in the world)
• The projectile has a copper jacket.
• The casings are made of 1st choice brass and are correctly annealed to increase their lifespan in the context of reloading (thereby the tension of the collar is also more regular which is favorable to precision).
• Primer type: Boxer, non-toxic, non-corrosive.
• The casing as well as the projectile and its constituent components are manufactured at GGG.
• The powder is formulated to be particularly stable if the cartridge is subjected to large temperature variations.
• The powder used includes a long-lasting stabilizer.

NOTE:
The 5.56x45mm is the metric denomination of the 223 Remington (as well as the administrative denomination). Not to be confused with the 5.56x45mm NATO (or 5.56x45mm NATO) which is a different cartridge generating a higher pressure and which is mounted with a projectile having a particular structure. The chambering in 5.56 NATO also diverges slightly from the 223 Rem. with the main differences being a longer rifling grip and a less pronounced rifling angle of attack to lower the chamber pressure of the 5.56 NATO. The weapons sold by BGM are mainly chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and can therefore accept the 2 types of cartridge indifferently (this information is generally present in the description of the weapons).
