The SUPER APC match trigger is part of the range of non-adjustable match triggers (for maximum reliability) directly derived from the GEISSELE SSF trigger, adopted and incorporated into the SOPMOD program with the aim of improving the performance of the M4A1. It is a semi-automatic variant of the latter.
(The SOPMOD program includes a list of accessories for weapons used by special forces that are under the command of the US Special Operations Command.)

This trigger combines the lightness of a match trigger with the reliability and durability of a military trigger.

Note:
All Geissele match triggers include a full-power hammer spring to have the shortest possible percussion time (Lock Time) which is favorable to precision.
