Here is the Glock novelty that we have all been waiting for for many years: a Glock pistol chambered in 22LR, the size of a Glock 19 and produced without compromise, in accordance with the Glock philosophy.
The hybrid slide was designed in steel and polymer to avoid having to use the aluminum often used on this type of weapon in 22LR (because the slide must be light to operate in this caliber and the use of aluminum does not offer long life in the case of a highly stressed moving part as is the case with this part). Glock, through its mastery of polymers, has therefore designed a very innovative cylinder head to solve the problem of the caliber 22LR.
The trigger of this model is as smooth as that of the other 5th generation Glocks.
The Glock 44 is compatible with all holsters designed for the Glock 19, and having the same grip, it is the ideal training weapon.
Its reliability has been verified with many ammunition, however it is always advisable to use major brand cartridges.
