Rifle KelTec RDB (Rifle, Downward-ejecting Bullpup).
KelTec is an American manufacturer based in Florida well known for its innovations.
The KelTec RDB rifle is of the Bullpup type, that is to say that its bolt is located behind its trigger. This configuration makes it possible to have a very short weapon with a relatively long barrel, but the main disadvantage of this profile has always been the ejection of the casings which usually requires modification for a left-handed shooter, because the shooter’s cheek is at the level of the ejection window on this type of weapon. This problem has been completely solved on the RDB because the ejection of casings is done from below. The weapon is therefore completely ambidextrous and can be used alternatively by a right-handed or a left-handed person without dismantling the bolt or inverting the ejection window. Only the cocking lever is reversible to improve ergonomics, but the weapon can however be used without being obliged to do this manipulation. This configuration is also beneficial to all shooters, not just left-handers, because it provides a very compact semi-automatic rifle that ejects its casings at the shooter’s feet, making them very easy to pick up.
Features :
- Completely ambidextrous weapon, including at the level of the ejection of casings.
- The casings are ejected from below, so they fall at the shooter’s feet, which makes picking up the cases particularly easy.

- Smoother recoil than most other 223 Rem chambered guns. or in 5.56 NATO.
- Short stroke piston throttle mechanism.
- Adjustable gas fret to accommodate different ammo types or suppressor usage.
- Steel bolt cover of sufficient thickness to withstand case breakage. (very important element on a Bullpup because the shooter’s cheek is at the level of the chamber)
- Picatinny rail securely attached to the barrel for mounting a scope or an electronic sight.
- Another Picatinny rail is located under the handguard
- The cylinder head has 2 ejectors and its studs are radiused to eliminate potential areas of incipient fracture.

- The safety disconnects the trigger and locks the hammer.
