Precision Armament EFAB cal.308 hybrid compensator
This hybrid compensator is one of the very rare compromises to achieve such good performance in all areas (recoil/raise, flash hider, blast reduction).
Each of the small machinings with 3 branches behaves like a nozzle which is made up of 3 inclined holes which come together to form a single small hole at its base.
The internal profile comprises 8 mini-chambers which lead to the nozzles described above.
The benefit of this structure is a hybrid compensator, capable of reducing recoil and lift without the usual unpleasant side shock wave.
This model is therefore suitable for conventional shooting ranges which sometimes do not accept weapons equipped with a compensator.
Moreover, as there is no decompression chamber, this compensator does not overgas the gas borrowing system unlike some models. It is therefore neutral and does not affect the cycle of the weapon.
The EFAB is optimized for short barrels (10.5” and 11.5”) but can be used on all other barrel lengths.
Its longevity is exceptional (> 150,000 rounds on a 16” barrel, > 100,000 rounds on a 14.5” in caliber 223 Rem. and in 300 BLK, the lifespan is not yet documented in 308 Win. ).
Constructed without compromise of stainless steel with a chromium carbon-nitride coating by vacuum evaporation.

• Finish: matte black (chromium carbon-nitride coating by vacuum evaporation). (This type of coating significantly increases resistance to erosion due to expanding hot gases. In addition, the stainless steel used also has excellent resistance to erosion, unlike conventional carbon steels).

Note: it is recommended that this compensator be mounted/indexed with one or more flat washers (it is not recommended to use a crush washer).
You will find on our site a kit of stainless steel washers of the same brand, allowing an indexation of 20° in 20°, however other flat washers can be used. This model requires the same alignment precision as a silencer, which is why an elastic cylindrical-conical washer is not recommended.
