RITTER & STARK SLX-1 precision rifle with folding stock, cal.308 Win. :

The SLX-1 carbine is the short action version of the R&S SX-1 rifle. It differs from this one by its non-modular magazine well compatible with the magazines of the SR-25/M110. These magazines have become a reference in terms of reliability among the magazines accepting the ammunition of the 308 Win family. (308 Win., 260 Rem., etc…) and are the most standardized to date. With the exception of the resulting limitation in caliber choice, no compromises have been made regarding longevity and accuracy, the parts and barrel being made in the same way as for the SX-1.

The Austrian company RITTER & STARK has developed a long-range shooting weapon with several features, some of which are unique to date. For example, the barrel is rifled on a numerically controlled machine designed for electrochemical machining (a process similar to electro-erosion but without tool wear, which makes it possible to have identical barrels from start to finish. a series, unlike traditional productions). The use of this technology allows an exceptional surface finish and geometry, and also allows the use of a steel with a higher hardness ensuring a long life without loss of precision.
