Zaffiri Precision is an American brand based in Florida and specialized in the manufacture of cylinder heads and barrels for Glock and Sig-Sauer.
This manufacturer has established itself as the producer of one of the best existing cylinder heads for these two families of pistols.
Zaffiri uses 17-4PH to manufacture its cylinder heads: it is a martensitic stainless steel with structural precipitation hardening, which makes it possible to combine excellent corrosion resistance and very high mechanical resistance, which is generally contradictory for steels. stainless (clearly, usually a stainless steel is either very resistant to oxidation but with a modest mechanical resistance, or this mechanical resistance is high but with a resistance to corrosion at the limit of the stainless steel classification, whereas the 17-4PH is able to combine these two qualities at the same time.)
